Works by Anna Amalia herself, together with sonatas by JS and CPE Bach, Handel, Corelli and Geminiani – all exquisitely performed by this brilliant British ensemble. Les Etoiles – harpsichord pieces by Boismortier & Corrette

Les Etoiles is a instantly downloadable full-length album that presents Boismortier’s wonderfully colourful Quatre suite de pieces de clavecin from 1736 in its entirety, and the first and third suite from Corrette’s Premier live de pieces de clavecin of 1734, played by Robin Bigwood on a spectacular modern copy of the 1711 Donzelague double-manual harpsichord by Alan Gotto.
